Last month I had the pleasure of spending a week mountain biking in Sedona Arizona with San Luis Obispo wedding photographer, Colin Michael and Phoenix Arizona wedding photographer, Riley Kimball. Both are accomplished shooters, mountain bikers and awesome guys to have on a trip like this. After a ten month long San Luis Obispo wedding photographer season, our only criteria for the trip was to ride each day, eat lots of good food, sample the local spirits and to check out what Sedona had to offer to brides planning Sedona weddings.

Last year, Michelle and I had the chance to check out a few of the many Maui wedding venues. Maui is a wonderful place to have a Hawaiian wedding! I’m a firm believer that a wedding planner is not necessary for planning a destination wedding as long as you are willing to do a bit of research and go into your wedding with a sense of adventure. Michelle and I took this attitude with us to Maui as we looked around for possible wedding venue sites that we would like to photograph.
