A few times now I’ve ended up in Texas or have photographed weddings almost exclusively attended by folks from the lone star state. I like how they do things over there. Everyone is beyond friendly and has a way of welcoming me into their inner circles with open hearts and lots of iced tea! In my experience, Texan weddings usually have live music, an abundance of hats, boots, ladies with huge smiles and families that are tightly knit.
Ashley and Justin held their wedding out at Still Waters Vineyard in Paso Robles, California this last Sunday. All of their guests traveled a very long way to be there. During the ceremony there were small tears (not the tears that wrinkle up and turn a face beat red but, the kind that show joy and happiness) from the vast majority of those seated in the front rows. Ashley is a dream as she never stops smiling and was so excited about every part of her day. Justin is obviously in awe of his wife and excited to have someone that brings joy to any room she inhabits.
Texas style is my kind of style. Hugs and laughter, live dancing music, a little two-step to just about anything playing and loving friends that will fly across the world for you.
