This weekend, we are headed up to Big Sur for a little camping adventure. This will be Payton’s first camping excursion. Michelle and I only have small, backpacking tents so, we headed over to our local sporting goods store and got ourselves a big family style Coleman. Payton and I had to test it out yesterday to make sure it would fit the three of us. Oh and Payton has been a fireman for the last few days, hence the red helmet.

I received a few emails asking how the trip went so, here are a few shots from the weekend. Payton, Michelle and I had a blast. All three of us really enjoyed the family time. Payton is really a great adventure kid and had fun sleeping in a tent for the first time, hiking around on steep trails and throwing hundreds of boulders (ok, maybe not boulders) into the ocean.
