San Luis Obispo Photographers

Kelly and Keith had their Los Angeles wedding last week. This San Luis Obispo photographer only ends up shooting weddings in Southern California a few times each year. Most of my weddings are in San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles or other Central Coast towns so, suffice it to say that I am always excited for new locales and challenging situations. Kelly and Keith’s wedding was held at the Orange County Doubletree’s Grand Ballroom. Kelly really wanted pretty sunset photos and this made me nervous considering there were a lot of skyscrapers all around! So, Michelle (Michelle was my assistant on this one – sweet!) and I arrived early and did a little exploring. We found a way to get to the top of one of the parking garages that overlooked Los Angeles and afforded us a gorgeous view of the Crystal Cathedral. I was lucky in my assumption that the Crystal Cathedral was positioned in a way to reflect the orange rays of light at the end of the day. I am very happy for Kelly and Keith and I wish you the very best as you start this portion of your lives together.

Oh and the video at the bottom was pieced together from the little clips I grabbed while I was photographing throughout the day. I am sooo not a videographer, but Kelly was super excited when I surprised her with it the next day – fun!
