Gabe and Melissa had their wedding in Yosemite National Park this weekend. This was by far the wettest, coldest and windiest wedding I have ever photographed. Awesome is the only word to describe it! On my way to Tanaya Lodge (where the reception was held and the guest stayed) I was hailed on and saw lightening shoot across the road. After gathering in Tenaya Lodge lobby and with much less apprehension than you might expect, all guest piled into vehicles for the trip to the valley floor. The Yosemite wedding ceremony was held under Yosemite Falls which are huge and flowing strong right now.
A quick shout out to Tenaya Lodge as they did a wonderful job with the reception. And Christine from Christine’s Cake Creations brought over a gorgeous cake that tasted wonderful (it looked so good I had to try a piece).
Gabe and Melissa are an amazing couple to have thought to do their Yosemite wedding during winter and to keep to their plan even when the weather turned nutty. Thanks you two that was a ton of fun!
