Recently I’ve been teaching Payton how to put away toys, clean up his spills and to sit on the couch (not jump up and down even though its way more fun). I have had little success with each situation. I’m learning that a 2 year olds top priority is doing everything in its most entertaining way. After watching this video, I think I will try out a new approach. Tonight we will shoot hoops into the toy box, play drums with towels on top of each spill and try pulling the pillows off the couch and jumping on the floor instead. As for myself, today I put the fun back into mowing the lawn and taking out the garbage 🙂
