Amy and Ross held their wedding at the Mitchell Katz Winery, Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, California this last weekend. The day started off at the Rose Hotel in Downtown Pleasanton where the girls got ready. The Rose Hotel is a wonderfully historic building with a spiral staircase and stunning rugs all over. The classic look of the hotel provided great backdrops that inspired me all morning long. Next we headed out to the Mitchell Katz Winery which uses the Palm Event Center as its wedding venue: HERE. The Palm Event Center has the Estate Room which is really one huge barrel room with painted concrete floors and gigantic chandeliers hanging above. The deep reds, dark oak barrels and stunning light fixtures create a surreal setting for a wedding ceremony. Mackenzie Herbst was the venue coordinator on hand that kept everything running smoothly and handled all details before they became an issue. Mackenzie was brilliant and I highly suggest you contact her if you are considering having a bay area wedding. The party really got going as the cake was served and DJ Chris Mowery, from Denon Doyle got the music playing. Chris did a great job of serving up some classic dance tunes which kept the floor filled the entire evening: HERE. Amy and Ross are a great couple with a very loving group of friends and family. I am honored to have been chosen to photograph this wedding and I wish Amy and Ross happiness and adventure as they begin their married lives together.
