Saddle Peak Lodge Wedding Photography | Four Seasons Hotel Weddings Photos

Monica and Alex had their Saddle Peak Lodge wedding last Saturday in Calabasas, California. I knew when we met about six months ago that I wanted to photograph Monica and Alex’s wedding. Especially after their wonderful engagement session (HERE and HERE), I was really looking forward to their wedding.

We started off the morning at the Four Seasons hotel in Westlake Village where they got ready for their wedding day. As I approached the couple’s room on the warm morning, I noticed the Four Seasons hotel wedding staff setting up for another wedding later that day. It was 8am and I wasn’t yet awake but, the long and silent grand hallways gave me a sense of peace and anticipation for the day to come. Walking into their suite, the mood was exactly the same as I anticipated: warm, excited and filled with a knowing of what they were about to do. What I had not expected was the compassion and obvious love Alex and Monica have for each other and for the people that surrounded them. I felt so at home and was instantly inspired by what I saw and what I was feeling.
