PJ saw snow for the first time in Tahoe Saturday. He was really into it. As preparation for the little adventure, we read him Curious George books about the snow and all the fun stuff you can do with it. His primary objective for the trip was to send as many snowballs towards my head as possible. And by the end of the weekend, his aim had improved more than I would have liked.
Our first stop on the trip was in Sacramento where we launched Hot Wheels off the capital steps. Then it was back in the car for the drive up to our friends south lake cabin.
So far this year I have one Tahoe wedding up on top of the Heavenly Resort ski hill. I’m looking forward to the gondola ride to the top and the gorgeous views as the sun sets over the mountain peaks. Tahoe weddings are always met with crisp skies, relatively calm winds and some of the clearest sunsets anywhere in the world. If we have time, I’m going to bring my mountain bike along for a little day after adventure.
Enough with the cold, time for Summer!
Before we left, I popped off a roll of Ilford XP2. This is one of my favorite BW films!
