Shannon and Ryan know how to throw a party. Their wedding was at Holland Ranch, just south of San Luis Obispo (and about 5 minutes from my house). I hadn’t been out to Holland Ranch for a couple of years and had forgotten how much I love shooting there. The mountains are positioned in a way that the sun seems to take forever to finally hit the horizon, making sunset pictures easily attainable and providing great light for longer than normal. These two have an outstanding group of friends that filled the scenic valley with laughter from early in the day until stars and neon signs were the only thing left to light up the night sky. Shannon’s smile is infectious and her bridesmaid’s silliness had me chuckling constantly all day long. Be sure to check out the video I put together as I was doing the photography throughout the day.
