I was first introduced to Kristin when my friends Jimmy and Brian from Subplot Studio came to me last year telling me they wanted to design Bluephoto a new website. Kristin works at Subplot and was tasked with taking our ideas and creating the actual website. Suffice it to say, Kristin has probably looked at more of my pictures than anyone (other than me) ever! Through the process of the website design and working with the Subplot crew, I got to know Kristin a little bit and couldn’t wait to photograph her wedding this year.
Kristin and Nick are two of the most genuine, fun, easy going and a little bit goofy people I have met. Kristin has a sweetness about her that doesn’t quite match the off-the-cuff funny comments that are sometimes delivered under her breath and have everyone laughing if they happen to here her zinger. And Nick loves her dearly. You can see it when they get close and so comfortably fall into each other. There is no awkwardness; just trust, communication, history and love.
