Jasmine and Morgan

Jasmine and Morgan will be married this year up in Cambria. They are having a beach ceremony and then heading over to Cambria Pines Lodge for their reception. Jasmine booked me for their wedding a while ago and we didn’t have a chance to meet until this weekend for their engagement shoot. It was great to finally meet in person because we have been friends on Facebook for a while. Because of our interaction online, I felt like I was hanging out with friends I’ve known for a long time. Very cool.

Morgan and Jasmine have been together since High School. They are incredibly comfortable with each other and share a bond that comes from living a portion of your life together and going through many of the same experiences. I love photographing best friends. These two are truly wonderful people and I really enjoyed our evening wandering around San Luis Obispo looking for gorgeous light.

Katie and Tim

Tim and Katie will be having their Santa Barbara wedding this summer. Their San Luis Obispo engagement shoot was right around the time of hay harvest. There are so many fields with hay bales in them right now a photographer can’t help but take advantage. Both Katie and Tim had a lot of fun exploring the surrounding towns such as Cambria and the Cambria Pines Lodge along with Spanish Oaks Ranch as well as the San Luis Obispo Mission all of which are wonderful places to get married. If you are looking to find a Santa Barbara wedding venues then you should definitely check out the Santa Barbara Mission as well as Fess Parker Winery, Cabrillo Arts Center, The Biltmore, The Bacara Resort, Barbara County Courthouse Sunken Garden, The Ojai Valley Inn and Parkers Wine Country Inn and Spa, Firestone Vineyard, Four Seasons Biltmore, Gainey Vineyard, Montecito Country Club, Moody Estate and the Arbor at Twin Peaks Ranch. Also, call us if you need a Santa Barbara wedding photographer for your event at the Music Acadamy of the West, the Santa Barbara Mission, the old Presidio and the greek Orthodox Church or the Sunstone Vineyards & Winery to name a few.

Marybeth and Scott

Marybeth and Scott are two of the fittest people I have ever photographed. I ride my bike constantly and am in pretty good shape but, these two were running circles around me. I am always so happy to see couples that share so much in common and are obviously best friends. Towards the end of our session, the sunlight started to bounce off the barn roof and through the hazy coastal fog, sending small flecks of golden light through the grass and making for a perfect ending to an amazing day. Thanks for a great time and I wish you two the very best!

Christina and Kellie

Christina and Kellie’s giggling was contagious; I could barely keep the camera steady (thanks guys, geesh!). Anyways, these two lovely ladies are getting hitched at Sycamore Springs this year. They informed me that they are going to have one of the “most traditional, non-traditional weddings” I have ever been to. Sounds like a ton of fun. Their guest list is extensive and I am betting from how sweet they are that they have a ton of totally awesome friends.

Patti and David

David and Patti are getting married in this May up in Cambria at the Cambria Pines Lodge. Both David and Patti were a bit nervous about getting their picture taken but, after only a little while, they were goofing off and having a lot of fun with it.

Geneva and Paul

Geneva and Paul are simply too silly! I dropped one of my remotes because they had me cracking up sooo much! A little about these two: Paul and Geneva are married. They had a small wedding a few years ago and decided that they really missed throwing a big bash with all of their friends. So, next month they are planning a Pismo Beach wedding celebration *(basically a huge old party for all of their friends and family). I am so happy for these two as I love to see a couple that truly understands what they have accomplished by keeping their marriage alive and strong! Congratulations – I can’t wait for the festivities to begin!!
